Via Ferrata

September 10, 2018

Last week the JSF office went to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) for a team building activity.   Our goal – the Via Ferrata! For those who do not know, Via Ferrata was installed at JHMR and translates to “iron way”. Fun fact, this type of climbing apparatus dates back to WWI and was used to help armies traverse mountains. It is a fixed cable on the mountain climber’s use as an aid and we highly recommend giving it a try.

JSF’s primary purpose is managing risk for our clients. Therefore, what better way to build our bond as a team then to rely on each other to assist in managing the Via Ferrata. The initial climb was intimidating, but with encouragement and team work we all climbed to the summit and traversed the suspension bridge over Casper Bowl. Great work team!
